Manual QA Engineer (FinTech)

Location: Remote work from anywhere in the world, or onsite from offices in Kyiv, Lviv, or Warsaw.

What you will do

• Analyze business requirements and product features, create and execute test cases, and report and verify defects.
• Test enterprise-level web and mobile applications across FinTech, EdTech, AgroTech, and e-commerce projects.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, scenarios, cases, progress reports, and test summaries.
• Perform root cause and impact analysis, collect quality metrics, and assess testing risks.
• Collaborate with QA, project, and cross-functional teams in meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Recommend improvements to QA procedures, systems, and tools, and estimate assigned features and tasks.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of manual testing experience, including 2 years with web or mobile applications.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, test design techniques, test metrics, and risk management.
• Experience with test documentation, testing environments, logs, root cause analysis, and impact analysis.
• Understanding of networks, client-server architecture, microservices, and backend testing.
• Experience with databases, SQL, REST or GraphQL APIs, Postman, and browser developer tools.
• Upper-intermediate English or higher in speaking and writing.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification.
• Performance testing experience.
