Senior Software Engineer (AI): Leading the development of end-to-end features for hirify.global’s web platform, focusing on preventing bugs, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating with product teams. Focus on contributing to hirify.global’s AI roadmap by evaluating third-party models, optimising LLM integration patterns, and defining technical guidelines for AI-powered features.

Location: Based in our Ahmedabad, Gujarat hub, with the expectation of working from our co-working space in downtown Ahmedabad 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Lead and rapidly build end-to-end features from scratch for hirify.global’s web platform.
• Proactively build technology to prevent bugs and gather detailed feedback from customers.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Designers in an agile environment.
• Mentor and coach others, providing technical guidance and helping build an environment of knowledge-sharing.
• Contribute to hirify.global’s AI roadmap by helping evaluate third-party models, optimising LLM integration patterns.
• Lead technical design discussions and facilitate technical decision making.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering complex software systems at scale.
• Strong experience in backend/API background of either PHP, Python or Java.
• Experience in frontend development, with a solid understanding of React and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL.
• Exposure to AI technologies, particularly around LLMs, embeddings, or natural language processing.

Nice to have

• Experience in Typescript, AWS, Cypress, Elasticsearch.
• Prior work in building or integrating intelligent features, such as semantic search, RAG and integration with third-party apps.
