Senior R&D Engineer (AI/ML)

Senior R&D Engineer (AI/ML): Responsible for developing software products and supporting systems, implementing machine learning algorithms, and developing models for multiple hirify.global Electronics Desktop (AEDT) workflows with an accent on solving complex issues and satisfying customer requirements. Focus on adapting algorithms, data cleaning, databases, and queries for the hirify.global Product Improvement Program (APIP) to extract ML pipeline data and handle product manager requests.

What you will do

• Participate in planning, architecture, and research.
• Perform complex development activities requiring extensive analysis in areas including user experience, software design, and solver research.
• Employ best practices and maintain them through technical reviews and mentoring.
• Perform bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products; research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions.
• Research and understand the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and may take on some planning and mentoring responsibilities.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field with 5 years’ experience, MS with 3 years’ experience, or PhD with 1 year experience.
• Commercial experience with full AI/ML pipeline, microservices, containers, CI/CD, and OOP in Python.

Nice to have

• Excellent technical knowledge and commercial experience with Python, general computing algorithms, data structures, IPC, LLMs, and deep learning.
• Understanding of Python programming standards, Python/C++ interoperation, and lower-level programming language concepts.
• Passion for crafting robust and efficient code.
• Experience delivering high-quality products in a large-scale commercial software development environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a geographically distributed team.
• Some experience with modern C++ for OOP.
