Freelance Animator (MotionBuilder/Maya)

What you will do

• Create character animations using keyframe and motion capture workflows.
• Integrate animations into the production pipeline, including motion capture cleanup with constraints and auxiliary effectors.
• Document animation processes, techniques, best practices, and tools.
• Participate in meetings, project planning, and time estimation.
• Work independently, maintain communication, and meet project deadlines remotely.

Requirements

• Professional experience with MotionBuilder and Maya.
• Strong understanding of keyframe animation principles and motion capture workflows.
• Basic knowledge of FACS-based facial animation and lipsync.
• Ability to create clear documentation for animation workflows and tools.
• Familiarity with project management software such as FPT.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required for remote collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Portfolio demonstrating both keyframe and motion capture animation work.
