TL;DR

Resident Customer Support Engineer: Responsible for daily technical operations, managing escalations, and serving as a hirify.global product expert at the customer site. Accent on resolving support issues, consulting on pre-sales activities, and improving the product through feature requests and bug submissions. Focus on working directly with customers and engineering teams.

Location: Must work onsite 4-5 days per week at the customer office/site in Lehi, Utah

What you will do

  • Complete daily technical operations and manage escalations effectively.
  • Build rapport and advise the customer's technical team.
  • Work support issues to full resolution, collaborating directly with customers and engineering teams.
  • Perform customer installations, upgrades, expansions, and field maintenance.
  • Lead and coordinate regular customer review meetings.
  • Submit feature requests and bugs to enhance the product.

Requirements

  • Must work onsite 4-5 days per week at the customer office/site.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing positions working with complex storage solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge in enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, and storage.
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration tasks.
  • Good understanding of networking and experience with network configurations on Linux.
  • Experience with S3 and high-performance computing.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on lab and hardware management experience.
  • Experience working in a rapidly growing startup environment.
