Product Designer (AI)

Salary: US base salary of $93K–$210K annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and deliver elegant, simple end-to-end product experiences for a large web application.
• Identify root problems and reduce unnecessary complexity in product flows.
• Communicate ideas through prototypes, writing, FigJam diagrams, and high-fidelity concepts.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product thinkers to account for technical constraints and possibilities.
• Iterate rapidly through scrappy prototypes and tangible experiments that move product decisions forward.
• Use user insights, research, and analytics to improve journeys and product outcomes.

Requirements

• Seasoned product design experience solving challenging product problems.
• Experience designing large web applications or tools.
• Strong product design instincts, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate design decisions and rationales clearly in writing and conversation.
• Technical understanding of how web products and engineering systems work.
• Comfort with asynchronous collaboration and articulating complex ideas remotely.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM-based user interfaces and interaction prototyping.
• Web development experience with HTML, CSS, or React.
• Technical background or education, such as a computer science degree.
• Experience building or using developer tools.
