Analytics Engineer, Forecasting & Revenue Intelligence

Location: United States (remote); Central or Eastern time zone preferred. The role may require in-person onboarding or identity verification.

Salary: $103,000–$185,130 annual base salary, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Build and maintain dbt models on Snowflake using Salesforce, subscription, billing, hierarchy, and forecast data.
• Define clear data grain, stable keys, shared metric definitions, and reproducible historical records.
• Maintain account, territory, seller, and sales hierarchy mappings as the organization changes.
• Build datasets for weekly forecast packs, business reviews, and leadership dashboards.
• Reconcile data with Salesforce and Finance, investigate discrepancies, and resolve data quality issues.
• Add freshness, completeness, and accuracy tests and work through version control, code review, and continuous integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI development.
• Production experience with dbt, including testing and documentation.
• Strong SQL skills, including window functions and incremental models, with experience in Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse.
• Working knowledge of the Salesforce data model, including accounts, opportunities, line items, and ownership.
• Ability to explain data problems to non-technical stakeholders and reach decisions collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt snapshots or slowly changing dimensions for point-in-time reporting.
• Python for transformation or orchestration, with Airflow or a similar tool.
• Experience with enterprise software or SaaS commercial data, including subscriptions, renewals, territories, and partner routes to market.
• Experience with Clari, Gong, Aviso, Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma.
• Experience as an early hire on a new data team.
