TL;DR
Senior Integration Technician, Weekend Shift (Aerospace): Assembling, installing, and testing Terran R flight hardware in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with an accent on aerospace mechanical operations, tooling, and quality-critical integration. Focus on building and documenting production operations, collaborating with engineering and quality teams, and solving hands-on integration challenges across primary rocket structures.

Location: Long Beach, California, United States. Onsite weekend shift, Friday through Monday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT, with 8 guaranteed overtime hours per week.

Hiring range: $34.42–$51.63 per hour, plus a 10% weekend-shift premium.

Builds Terran R launch vehicles, rocket manufacturing systems, and related aerospace technologies for commercial orbital missions.

What you will do

  • Assemble, install, and test flight hardware for the development and production of Terran R.
  • Perform critical integration operations with a focus on quality, accuracy, and safety.
  • Set up and operate hand, pneumatic, calibrated, and measurement tools.
  • Collaborate with production, integration engineering, and quality teams.
  • Help build, develop, and document job operations and improve manufacturing processes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related experience.
  • Experience in fast-paced production environments handling flight hardware and performing critical operations.
  • Technical experience with fastener and torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics, and bonding operations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and production teams.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work in tight spaces, navigate uneven surfaces, and frequently crouch, bend, squat, kneel, and reach overhead.

Nice to have

  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant license.
  • Electromechanical build proficiency.
  • Familiarity with propulsion systems and components.
