Site Reliability Engineer (Storage) - remote friendly

Location: Hybrid work in Paris, Berlin, Milan, Belgrade, or Barcelona. The Storage team is remote-first, with teammates distributed across Europe.

What you will do

• Operate PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and Elasticsearch in production.
• Protect the availability and resilience of banking-grade storage infrastructure.
• Lead incident response, performance troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for stateful systems.
• Define backup and disaster-recovery scenarios with Risk & Compliance.
• Build internal platform APIs and self-service tooling for backend teams.
• Help make storage APIs safe and traceable for AI agents.

Requirements

• Production experience operating PostgreSQL, including performance investigation, backups, restores, and safe changes.
• Working knowledge of Redis, Kafka, or Elasticsearch and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Experience using AI for debugging, coding, documentation, or operational work.
• Ability to write and ship production features for internal platform tools.
• Experience handling production incidents on stateful systems with a calm and rigorous approach.
