Compensation Range: $145K - $155K annually + equity

What you will do

• Implement, maintain, and improve software architecture to decrease hirify.global’s risk of security incidents.
• Deliver on key projects that enhance security operations by writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code.
• Develop and support software including applications, database integrations, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.
• Support test and deployment of new products and features.
• Contribute to collaborative code reviews; maintaining high standards of quality and best practices.
• Take a generalist approach to building security controls, balancing a mix of security expertise and broad technical skillsets to adapt to evolving challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in Software Engineering, Security Engineering or Security-adjacent field.
• Familiar with security principles, best practices, and common vulnerabilities.
• Understanding of common security practices, with the ability to identify and address security gaps or inefficiencies to protect company assets.
• Experience working within cloud environments such as GCP or AWS.
• Strong knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Ruby, Go, Rust, JavaScript).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
