What you will do
- Act as a player‑coach, balancing strategic leadership with hands‑on execution on high‑impact projects.
- Manage, support, and grow a high‑performing team of designers and researchers across multiple products.
- Drive end‑to‑end design and research strategy aligned to business goals, product outcomes, and customer value.
- Champion accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design principles, embedding them into all stages.
- Establish quality bars and design standards, scaling excellence through design systems and reusable patterns.
- Integrate qualitative and quantitative research into product decisions, ensuring timely, rigorous, and actionable insights.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years in product design/UX, including 4–6+ years leading multidisciplinary design and research teams.
- Proven success leading end‑to‑end product design and UX research for complex B2B SaaS or platform products.
- Data‑driven approach to setting metrics, running experiments, and guiding decisions with quantitative and qualitative evidence.
- Deep competence in core design skills (information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, visual communication).
- Strong grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design, with experience in accessible research and reviews.
- Excellent collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Data partners; adept at planning, scoping, and delivering complex programs.
- Must have US work authorization; unable to consider candidates requiring sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Experience in the social impact, nonprofit, or public sector domains.
- Experience building and governing multi‑brand design systems at scale.
- Familiarity with experimentation (A/B testing), analytics, and instrumentation for UX metrics.
