Senior Software Engineer (AML/KYC)

What you will do

• Build and scale the Customer Identity Platform supporting secure and compliant access to banking services.
• Design, build, and optimize scalable APIs with AWS and cloud-native technologies.
• Develop AML/KYC services using backend technologies and distributed messaging and data systems.
• Work with data lineage, data lakes, and pipeline orchestration tools such as Dagster.
• Contribute to architectural solutions and explain complex systems and technical decisions clearly.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver secure services.

Requirements

• Senior Software Engineer with solid experience shipping software to production.
• Extensive backend development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, Kafka, GitHub, Elastic, and AWS.
• Experience or understanding of data lineage, data lakes, and data pipeline orchestration.
• Ability to work effectively in complex, fast-moving environments where the solution is not yet known.
• Understanding of secure system design and data protection.
• Ability to communicate technical work clearly to non-engineers and collaborate productively with engineers across teams.
• Ownership mindset, teamwork, and willingness to drive initiatives.
• Commitment to engineering best practices and observability.
