FPGA Designer (High-Tech Systems)

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands; hybrid work from the Eindhoven office, with occasional work at clients' premises and some work from home.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and verify FPGA architectures and high-speed signal-processing pipelines for RF, imaging, and radar applications.
• Integrate and optimize signal-processing algorithms on FPGA and GPU platforms for high-throughput and low-latency performance.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams across technical domains to deliver high-tech system solutions.
• Support system-level integration and debugging.
• Own technical components, develop leadership skills, and potentially act as a technical lead.
• Maintain expertise in modern design flows, simulation, development tools, and technical methods while sharing knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electronics at HBO level or master's degree at WO level, with at least five years of relevant work experience.
• Solid experience with FPGA, VHDL, and Verilog design.
• Experience developing high-speed signal-processing pipelines for RF, image, and radar applications, including data streams in the gigasamples-per-second range.
• Experience implementing advanced signal-processing algorithms on FPGAs or GPUs, optimized for high-throughput and high-clock-rate architectures.
• Familiarity with FPGA design flows and hands-on experience with simulation and design tools.
• Knowledge of development methods and techniques, with an active commitment to maintaining technical expertise.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in both spoken and written Dutch and English.

• Experience with high-speed board design.
