Senior Associate (Senior Manager), Finance (Real Estate)

Location: San Diego, CA, United States; onsite role

Salary: $125,000–$165,000 per year, plus bonus, long-term incentive, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and maintain the corporate financial model, forecasting consolidated portfolio cash flows for long-term earnings and liquidity planning.
• Design and implement model enhancements, perform scenario and sensitivity analyses, and create executive-level outputs for decision-making.
• Analyze tenant financial statements, operating performance, and liquidity; monitor portfolio credit health and lead credit underwriting quality control.
• Analyze, summarize, and present monthly financial performance versus forecast to senior management.
• Collaborate with accounting, capital markets, equity sponsorship, and other functions on reporting deliverables and data infrastructure improvements.
• Manage concurrent workstreams, delegate effectively, mentor team members, and respond to ad hoc requests from senior management and sponsors.

Requirements

• BA/BS with strong performance in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
• Advanced experience with real estate cash flows and financial models in Excel is required.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams and deadlines, delegate effectively, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Ability to clearly convey technical information orally and in written correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with database management or enterprise reporting systems such as SAP BPC, Oracle Hyperion, or Oracle EPM Cloud.
