Digital Marketing & Content Manager (Industrial Engineering)

Location: Birmingham, UK; hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the office.

What you will do

• Create, manage, and optimise website content including news, case studies, careers content, and employee stories.
• Improve website performance through SEO, content optimisation, analytics, and emerging AI search platforms.
• Plan and deliver social media content, especially LinkedIn, and coordinate monthly content plans.
• Work with operational teams and business leaders to promote projects, expertise, success stories, and company milestones.
• Produce newsletters and internal communications across multiple business units.
• Analyse engagement and campaign performance and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Strong copywriting, editing, and content creation skills.
• Experience managing website content and CMS platforms.
• Experience planning and delivering social media campaigns.
• Understanding of SEO, content optimisation, and digital best practice.
• Confidence analysing data and reporting on campaign performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience using Canva or similar content creation tools.

Nice to have

• Experience using WordPress.
• Knowledge of SEO platforms such as SEMrush.
• Exposure to LinkedIn advertising and paid social campaigns.
• Experience in a B2B, engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment.
