Senior Full Stack Engineer (C# .NET)

Location: Hybrid, three days a week in a Belfast office

Salary: £55,000–£65,000 per year

Build software for a global financial and commodities market infrastructure business connecting traders and institutions to liquidity and data.

What you will do

• Build new features end to end, from design through production.
• Shape the architecture of a greenfield trade ledgering and reporting product.
• Develop backend services and APIs with C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.
• Deliver frontend features using React and TypeScript.
• Work with product owners and analysts to turn ambiguous requirements into clear solutions.
• Champion automated testing, CI/CD, production troubleshooting, and engineering best practices while mentoring less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Solid commercial experience as a full stack or backend-leaning engineer.
• Strong C#, .NET, and ASP.NET skills; Entity Framework experience is preferred within the core stack.
• Relational database experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Working experience with React.
• Experience building and integrating REST, GraphQL, or WebSockets APIs.
• Ability to own features end to end within an Agile, autonomous team.
• Curious, problem-solving mindset and confidence learning new technologies quickly.
• Availability to work three days a week from Belfast.

Nice to have

• AWS and containerisation with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools, microservices, or event-driven systems.
• Interest in financial or commodities markets.
