Technical Project Lead (AI/ML)

Location: 100% remote; candidates can be located anywhere. An office is available in Krakow.

Salary: 140–190 on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Translate business concepts and client requirements into technical scopes, implementation roadmaps, and project timelines.
• Lead the technical delivery of AI/ML projects while maintaining architectural consistency and engineering standards.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and NLP solutions.
• Write and review production-level Python code and contribute hands-on to AI/ML development.
• Coordinate engineering activities, delegate tasks, review developers’ work, and manage technical dependencies and delivery risks.
• Act as the main technical contact for clients and stakeholders, explaining technical decisions and coordinating project execution.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of full-time professional experience in software engineering, AI, Machine Learning, or related technical roles.
• Experience leading technical projects, including scope definition, timeline preparation, delivery coordination, and stakeholder communication.
• Strong hands-on Python programming experience, including production-level code development and maintenance.
• Practical experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Practical knowledge of Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and/or Natural Language Processing.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML models and solutions.
• Understanding of software architecture, technical design principles, engineering best practices, and architectural decision-making.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams, reviewing code, coordinating technical activities, and managing responsibilities across multiple projects while remaining hands-on.
• Very good English and Polish are required.
