Senior Cloud Services Engineer, II (Azure/AWS)

Location: Remote - USA

Estimated base salary: $145,000–$160,000 plus a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure and enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Support Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Purview, Box, and Cisco Email Security.
• Automate cloud resource provisioning, configuration, and management, and use observability tooling for proactive issue detection.
• Investigate complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement improvements to reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Information Security on policies, regulatory requirements, governance, data compliance, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain architecture documentation and operational procedures, contribute to standards, mentor engineers, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, cloud services, or related technical disciplines.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of Azure, AWS, cloud infrastructure architecture, networking, identity management, and enterprise SaaS integrations.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, information lifecycle management, disaster recovery, business continuity, and information security certifications and audits.
• Ability to maintain infrastructure architecture, operational, and system configuration documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ownership, patience, and a collaborative, respectful approach.
