Location: Hybrid (New York City, San Francisco). If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. Must be currently based in United States, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, Netherlands, Canada, India, Japan.

Salary: $196,000-$294,000 (San Francisco, CA)

What you will do

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the AI SDK, ensuring it meets high-performance standards and integrates seamlessly with our deployment platform.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code and conduct comprehensive testing to ensure the reliability and stability of the SDK.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and infrastructure experts, to address challenges and deliver exceptional results.
• Engage with the open-source community, participate in discussions, and contribute to related projects.
• Actively gather feedback from developers and users, and use it to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the AI SDK.

Requirements

• You have at least 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with modern frontend development tools
• Experience contributing to or participating in open source projects
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
