Senior FP&A Analyst (Life Sciences)

Location: Waltham, Massachusetts, United States of America

Base salary: $96,000–$130,000 per year, plus eligibility for variable cash compensation and, for eligible roles, equity.

What you will do

• Support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, long-range planning, and global forecast consolidation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports, performance analyses, and actionable business insights.
• Support quarterly earnings preparation with schedules, analyses, and leadership materials.
• Build and maintain financial models for business performance, investments, KPIs, and strategic questions.
• Partner with corporate G&A, Business Unit Finance, Operations Finance, R&D, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams.
• Lead or contribute to special projects, continuous improvement, reporting enhancements, margin expansion, and process transformation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, facilitation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to simplify complex financial information.
• Ability to collaborate across geographically dispersed and cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in a global, public, multi-site manufacturing, life sciences, bioprocessing, medical technology, or similarly complex environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Power tools.
• Experience leading finance process improvement, automation, standardization, or transformation initiatives.
• MBA, CPA, CMA, or another relevant advanced degree or professional credential.
