Product Management Director (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in the United States; New York City, NY or Waltham, MA, with 8 office days per month. Applicants may be required to appear onsite for interviews.

Salary: $181,900.00–$325,050.00 USD, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Define product vision, portfolio strategy, multi-year roadmaps, investment priorities, and measurable outcomes for Health Research products and customer workflows.
• Translate customer, market, workflow, competitive, and business insight into product direction, priorities, value propositions, and strategic decisions.
• Lead cross-functional programs with Product, Engineering, Design, Content Operations, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations.
• Run evidence-based experiments with AI technologies, trusted content, agentic research workflows, prompts, evaluation rubrics, and experience designs.
• Establish repeatable paths for incorporating GenAI, language models, machine learning, and text and data mining into product roadmaps with appropriate governance.
• Coach Product Managers, improve product-management practices, and communicate strategy, performance, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant Product Management experience in enterprise software, SaaS, information services, or similarly complex technology environments.
• Hands-on experience shipping products and experiences and defining product strategy tied to measurable outcomes.
• Experience using AI for customer understanding, insight synthesis, experimentation, and product execution while maintaining human judgment.
• Experience building, launching, or scaling AI-enabled products and integrating AI into product-development practices.
• Experience leading across multiple products, teams, or customer workflows and partnering with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Operations, and senior stakeholders.
• Experience coaching Product Managers or improving product capability across teams.
• Strong product judgment, customer orientation, strategic, commercial, and financial acumen, including monetization, forecasting, prioritization, and investment decisions.
• Strong communication, influence, research, experimentation, product telemetry, adoption, value-realization, and cross-functional leadership skills.
