What you will do

• Conduct complex independent research in biomedical or immunological sciences using advanced knowledge and techniques.
• Organize, prepare, and clean the research worksite and determine required supplies.
• Analyze research data, summarize results, and write or contribute to research papers, articles, and publications.
• Assist with grant acquisition and prepare technical progress reports for research sponsors.
• Prepare and deliver research presentations to small or large groups.
• Mentor student researchers and other research staff and may supervise assigned staff or students.

Requirements

• PhD in biomedical sciences, immunological sciences, or a related field.
• Six years of related experience in biomedical or immunological sciences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary collaborative team, multitask, and cooperate with others.
• Employment is grant funded, and future employment may depend on future funding.
• Availability to work weekends and/or outside normal working hours may be required; travel may be required.
• All positions are security-sensitive and require a criminal history investigation and verification of credentials and other required information.

Nice to have

• Expertise working with rodents.
• Experience in adaptive immunity.
