What you will do

• Lead systems engineering processes and documentation across the PM PNT product life cycle, including systems engineering plans, configuration management, risk management, and integrated master plans.
• Oversee requirements analysis, system architecture, modeling and simulation, integration, testing, validation, host-platform integration, and field demonstrations for classified and unclassified products.
• Lead technical reviews, including SSR, SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, PRR, FCA, and PCA, while assessing readiness and resolving engineering issues.
• Coordinate IPTs, working groups, technical meetings, and subject-matter-expert input; provide actionable recommendations to PM PNT leadership.
• Oversee integration with Army platforms, including interoperability, sustainment, doctrine, and DOTMLPF impacts.
• Provide technical oversight for sensor design, hardware, software and network integration, acquisition documentation, technical data artifacts, and requirements databases.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or systems engineering plus 10 years of experience in systems engineering for DoD systems, or a master’s degree plus 8 years of experience.
• Experience with systems engineering for Department of Defense systems and applicable DoD guidance.
• Ability to lead complex technical evaluations, integrate subject-matter-expert input, and present findings, alternatives, risks, and recommendations for O6-level decisions.
• Ability to coordinate engineering priorities, dependencies, and technical actions across stakeholders.
• Independent judgment and critical thinking to manage engineering efforts and escalate issues with clear recommendations.

Nice to have

• Experience with IEEE Standard 1220, DoDAF products, digital engineering policy, and knowledge management practices.
• Experience with PNT and augmentation technologies, acquisition documentation, proposal evaluations, and Army platform integration.
