US Infrastructure Engineer (AI)

Location: New York, United States; in person in the office 5 days a week

Salary: $120K–$250K base, plus significant equity

What you will do

• Own deployment, security, and operation of Solve for large US customers, including single-tenant, isolated, and air-gapped environments.
• Design and run AWS infrastructure with Terraform, including regulated and government-grade environments.
• Build infrastructure security controls covering IAM, network segmentation, encryption, logging, and audit trails.
• Instrument infrastructure with OpenTelemetry and Datadog, and own incident response for US environments.
• Improve CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Docker so the engineering team can ship safely and quickly.
• Establish repeatable enterprise deployments, on-call processes, monitoring, and runbooks across US customer environments.

Requirements

• Use Terraform daily as the default infrastructure tool.
• Own production cloud infrastructure, ideally on AWS, beyond basic configuration.
• Have experience with Kubernetes or ECS and building deployment pipelines independently.
• Understand IAM, cloud networking, secrets management, and least-privilege design.
• Have strong Python skills and be comfortable building backend services and integrating infrastructure with the product.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 environments.
• Early-engineer startup experience or infrastructure experience at a hedge fund or quant firm.
• Experience with distributed task queues such as Celery or SQS, OpenSearch, or AI/ML infrastructure.
• DevSecOps experience.
