Senior Security Engineer, Infrastructure (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; listed locations include New York, Florida, Massachusetts, Virginia, Georgia, and Pennsylvania

Salary: $167,790–$227,010 for Tier 1 or $147,263–$199,238 for Tier 2, plus equity and bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads and cloud services by investigating pod health, logs, errors, latency, and provider issues.
• Author and ship reviewed Terraform and Kubernetes changes that improve security and reliability across the Hosted AI Platform and broader cloud infrastructure.
• Improve AWS and edge/network controls covering IAM, networking, secrets, encryption, logging, and Cloudflare.
• Use Python or similar scripting and monitoring improvements to automate operational work and reduce recurring misconfigurations.
• Participate in the AI Product on-call rotation, triage production alerts, communicate clearly, and escalate when needed.
• Partner with Infrastructure Security, Platform Engineering, AI Core, and other R&D stakeholders to resolve security issues.

Requirements

• Production cloud infrastructure experience, preferably with AWS, and working knowledge of IAM, networking, secrets, encryption, or logging security controls.
• Hands-on production Kubernetes experience, including inspecting workloads, reading logs, and troubleshooting failures with command-line tools.
• Experience authoring Terraform changes that have been reviewed and deployed to production, with comfort using Git and pull requests.
• Production on-call or incident-response experience, including alert investigation, clear communication, and sound escalation judgment.
• Python or similar scripting ability and familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders across an R&D organization to resolve security issues with urgency and a team-first approach.

Nice to have

• Experience operating AI/ML infrastructure, LLM platforms, or services integrating with model providers, including familiarity with model routing or quota concepts.
• Experience with Cloudflare or other edge/network security controls.
• Exposure to cloud security posture management tools such as Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or Orca.
• Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• Familiarity with blockchain, crypto, fintech, or regtech infrastructure.
