Sr. Technical Program Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end program management for cross-functional initiatives across product and engineering, including OEMS, PMS, and UI/UX.
• Build project charters, program roadmaps, risk registries, and milestone tracking from initiation through delivery.
• Coordinate prioritization and execution with product managers and senior engineering development managers without directly owning team ceremonies.
• Identify risks and blockers, drive resolution, and maintain delivery momentum.
• Translate business goals into executable plans with clear milestones and accountability.
• Deliver structured leadership reporting using AI tools and improve program management frameworks with the TPM team.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of Technical Program Management experience, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or capital markets.
• Ability to build project charters and drive ambiguous programs through delivery with minimal direction.
• Proficiency with roadmaps, Gantt charts, risk registries, milestone tracking, and program management tools such as Jira and Confluence or equivalent.
• Strong command of Scrum and Kanban, with familiarity with waterfall delivery where applicable.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and how software moves from concept to production.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure, architecture, and system design sufficient to engage credibly with technical teams.
• Familiarity with design principles, APIs, and cloud platforms, plus comfort using AI tools for reporting, documentation, and program communication.
• Strong cross-functional coordination and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical complexity to executive audiences.
• High ownership, integrity, collaboration, and trust-building skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in capital markets, fintech, or front-office environments involving order management, portfolio management, or trading systems.
• Experience scaling a TPM function or establishing program management practices in a growing organization.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, budgeting and resource management, and OKR/KPI frameworks.
• Technical background in development, platforms, or systems, or active personal coding projects.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
