Senior Manager - IMD Operations

Location: Warsaw, Poland; at least 3 days in the office

Salary: zł229,600–zł377,200 annually, potentially including sales incentive payments; bonus and equity may also apply.

What you will do

• Manage the operational execution of the Innovation and Market Development Fund (IMD) portfolio across multiple markets, including commitments, approvals, spend, collections, carry-over balances, and P&L impacts.
• Own operations for IMD-funded Value Added Services initiatives from approval through billing, usage tracking, margin calculation, revenue recognition, and post-close adjustments.
• Maintain IMD data across finance systems, including GPC; administer forecasts and system maintenance; and resolve data quality, access, and system issues.
• Produce management reporting and dashboards, supporting forecasts, outlooks, month-end close, reporting packs, and visibility into funding utilization.
• Perform financial and operational reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain audit-ready controls and records.
• Standardize processes across markets and drive automation, simplification, scalability, and reduced manual effort in collaboration with Finance, Commercial, Product, Accounting, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically 8+ years of relevant experience in finance operations, FP&A, financial control, or investment portfolio management, including at least 3 years leading complex processes or cross-functional initiatives across multiple markets.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, forecasting, reconciliations, month-end close, and internal controls, with the ability to maintain accurate, audit-ready records.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems skills, including maintaining data integrity and developing management reporting.
• Ability to manage approval workflows, resolve complex operational issues, and improve processes in a matrix organization.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including coordination across Finance, Commercial, Product, and Accounting teams.

Nice to have

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Experience with reporting, visualization, and automation tools.
• Experience in payments, financial services, or a multinational organization.
• Familiarity with investment funding programmes, VAS economics, and revenue recognition.
