Finance Transformation & AI Manager - Operations & Tax Europe (m/f/d)

Location: Warsaw or Sofia, hybrid model. The role is office-first, with flexibility to work from another location for up to 60 days per year depending on the role.

What you will do

• Lead cross-market Finance transformation initiatives from opportunity identification and scoping through stakeholder alignment, delivery, and adoption.
• Identify opportunities for AI, automation, and process redesign to reduce manual work and strengthen controls, then drive implementation.
• Apply Lean and continuous-improvement principles to understand and standardize processes before automating them.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, audit findings, and tax exposures across European markets.
• Act as a senior partner and trusted deputy to the Director of Finance Operations & Tax, aligning operating models and best practices across markets.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or tax within a multinational environment.
• Proven experience owning and delivering cross-functional projects from idea through implementation.
• Hands-on exposure to process automation, AI tools, or finance systems implementation.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, work independently, own projects, and deliver results without direct authority.
• Solid understanding of accounting, reconciliations, and multi-jurisdiction tax compliance.
• Fluent English required.

• Audit or advisory background.
• Familiarity with Lean Management, continuous improvement, or similar methodologies.
• Additional European languages.
