What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using LLMs and modern machine learning technologies.
• Build LLM-based solutions with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and open-source models.
• Develop RAG pipelines, embedding solutions, and vector database integrations.
• Build, optimize, and maintain AI/ML solutions using Python and core machine learning libraries.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deploy and operate applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams, communicating technical decisions and trade-offs.

Requirements

• Fluency in both German and English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years building and deploying ML/AI systems in production.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM-based applications using Anthropic Claude, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or open-source models.
• Practical experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, and at least one production vector database.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor, together with strong manual coding fundamentals.
• Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow, scikit-learn, pandas, and NumPy.
• Understanding of Git, branching strategies, and pull-request-based code reviews.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience deploying services in Microsoft Azure, including AKS, App Service, Functions, Azure AI/ML services, or similar, plus familiarity with Docker and containerization.

• Experience with both commercial and open-source LLMs.
• Experience optimizing LLM applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Experience with advanced RAG techniques and vector search optimization.
• Experience with MLOps practices and monitoring production AI/ML systems.
• Experience working on enterprise-level AI solutions.
