Site Reliability Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Build, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
• Establish, monitor, and improve Service Level Objectives, Service Level Indicators, and Service Level Agreements in line with business needs.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code tools and scripting languages.
• Design and maintain resilient, fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
• Debug reliability and performance issues across applications, infrastructure, and monitoring systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development and/or operations.
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, such as C++, Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with Python, Go, Bash/Shell scripting, or other automation tools and languages.
• Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or Spacelift.
• Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudFront, and Lambda.
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
• Experience with Grafana, ELK Stack, Prometheus, or similar tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, communication skills, and fluency in English.
