Senior Regulatory Data Engineer (Finance)

Location: Copenhagen or Aarhus, Denmark, or Stockholm, Sweden; four days per week in the office

What you will do

• Build and maintain data models and calculation logic for COREP, Danmarks Nationalbank MFI, AnaCredit/Kreditregistret, KRGS, and other DFSA submissions.
• Translate regulatory rules into tested, version-controlled pipelines with regulatory specialists.
• Build validation checks and reconciliations to identify data issues before submissions.
• Replace spreadsheet-based reporting steps with reproducible workflows.
• Partner with Product, Technology, Treasury, and Accounting on source data and assess the data impact of new products.

Requirements

• Solid experience building production data models and pipelines.
• Strong SQL and hands-on Python, dbt, or similar tools.
• Experience with financial or regulatory data in a bank, fintech, regtech vendor, or advisory setting.
• Working knowledge of regulatory reporting concepts such as own funds, liquidity, or the EBA taxonomy.
• Good engineering practices, including version control, testing, and maintainable documentation.
• Ability to explain data models to finance stakeholders and regulatory questions to engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with OneSumX, Regnology, or Adenza.
