Senior Electrical Systems Engineer – Wiring Harness & EMC (Automotive)

What you will do

• Develop and improve vehicle electrical architectures, wiring harnesses, and low-voltage systems.
• Support electrical component integration, installation, and system-level design.
• Define EMC requirements and support EMC compliance activities, including ECE R10 and applicable automotive regulations.
• Coordinate electrical system verification, validation, testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues and participate in design reviews.
• Support electrical system quality, reliability, certification readiness, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant automotive electrical engineering experience.
• Strong experience with wiring harness design, electrical schematics, and low-voltage systems.
• Good understanding of vehicle E/E architecture and electrical component integration.
• Knowledge of EMC principles and automotive electrical regulations.
• Experience with electrical system verification, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Saber, Zuken E3, or similar engineering tools.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Valid Category B driving licence and professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with commercial vehicles, trucks, or buses.
• Practical experience with EMC testing, certification, or ECE R10 compliance.
• Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, or other vehicle diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of 24V vehicle electrical systems.
• Experience with suppliers, homologation teams, or certification authorities.
• Familiarity with automotive product development and release processes.
