Technical Engineer – Card & RFID Solutions

What you will do

• Investigate and resolve technical issues involving card production, encoding, RFID, and related systems.
• Test and evaluate materials, equipment, software, and technical solutions.
• Identify and implement improvements to product quality, production efficiency, and reliability.
• Contribute to technical projects from requirements analysis through testing and implementation.
• Provide technical input to Product Management, Operations, and Technical Services while collaborating with suppliers and customers.
• Create technical documentation, instructions, and procedures; act as a subject matter expert for RFID and related technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering, computer engineering, automation, mechatronics, engineering physics, or a related technical field.
• At least three years of relevant professional experience in electronics, embedded systems, automation, production engineering, technical testing, technical product support, or a related field.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues and taking solutions through testing and implementation.
• Structured and analytical approach combined with a practical, hands-on mindset.
• Ability to take ownership of technical tasks and work effectively across teams.
• Clear communication skills and ability to turn technical findings into actionable recommendations.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with RFID, smart cards, identity, or access control technologies.
• Experience with manufacturing, personalisation, or other production processes.
• Programming, system integration, or data analysis experience.
• Technical collaboration with customers or suppliers.
