Radar RF Design Engineer (Radar)

Location: Remote role associated with Lund, Sweden

What you will do

• Develop and verify RF front-end designs and RF reference designs for future radar product adaptations and configurations.
• Contribute to new radar technology features for Axis security products.
• Define radar technology strategy and future ambitions.
• Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
• Identify technology trends, support technology roadmaps, and contribute to Axis's radar competence center.

Requirements

• Engineering or technical master's degree or equivalent.
• Several years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with RF platforms.
• Experience with simulations using tools such as CST or HFSS.
• Experience verifying RF hardware with instruments such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
• Experience with schematic design and understanding of PCB layout aspects.
• Hands-on laboratory experience, including soldering.
• Programming skills.
• Experience with certification.
• Pragmatic, structured, communicative, curious, and comfortable working in a team.
