QA Engineer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work; candidates must be based in Lisbon.

hirify.global is expanding its quality assurance team for web and mobile application development.

What you will do

• Perform manual and automated testing across web and mobile applications.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate new features, enhancements, bug fixes, releases, and deployments.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and other cross-functional teams while improving QA processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Experience with both manual testing and test automation.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Experience designing and executing test cases and scenarios, and using defect management and bug-tracking tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification.
