Summer 2027 Engineering Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: North Jackson, Ohio, United States; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Implement manufacturing process improvements, automation, and robotics integration.
• Design, lay out, monitor, and improve assigned processes while developing solutions to technical issues.
• Apply structured engineering methods to improve process control, yields, capacity, and technology capabilities.
• Create and update work instructions, training guides, and certification tests.
• Collaborate with mentors, program champions, and cross-functional teams on automation, design for manufacturability, cost savings, and customer needs.
• Present project updates to local leadership and participate in corporate trade shows; limited travel is required for workshops and trade shows.

Requirements

• Current college junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Experience applying engineering concepts to solve problems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Project management and structured problem-solving skills, including data-based and ethical decision-making.
• Ability to design and analyze experiments using statistical tools.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Must comply with TTM export control policies and applicable ITAR, EAR, and OFAC requirements, including restrictions governing access to ITAR products and technical data.
