Mechanical Engineering Internship Program (Spring & Summer 2027) (HVACR)

What you will do

• Apply classroom knowledge to mechanical engineering challenges through research, testing, analysis, and problem-solving.
• Support HVACR product design, development, testing, prototype builds, engineering evaluations, CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Contribute to manufacturing process improvements, automation, Lean projects, equipment implementation, process validation, and plant optimization.
• Support cross-functional engineering and new product development projects from concept through implementation, including planning, documentation, reporting, and technical analysis.
• Assist with compliance activities, audits, documentation reviews, technical investigations, and evaluation of product designs against regulatory requirements.
• Present findings and recommendations to engineering leaders and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Ability to work during the Spring 2027 and/or Summer 2027 internship terms.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Applicants requiring sponsorship or holding temporary visas such as E, F-1 with OPT or CPT, H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J, or TN are not eligible for hire.

Nice to have

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience through engineering projects, student organizations, research, internships, or co-ops.
• Exposure to CAD and 3D modeling, manufacturing processes, design engineering, data analysis, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, quality systems, or testing and validation.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
