Microsoft Purview Engineer

Location: Brussels, Belgium; consultancy mission at a client site

What you will do

• Set up Microsoft Purview to secure organizational data according to defined security levels.
• Gather security requirements for teams, classic directories, and databases from the data manager.
• Configure information protection, data loss prevention, and auto-labeling controls.
• Ensure compliance with the Federal Information Security Policy (FISP).
• Prevent strictly confidential data from leaving the institution.
• Provide hands-on consultancy and collaborate with client stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with the mentioned Microsoft technologies, including hands-on Microsoft Purview experience.
• Experience administering Microsoft M365 E5.
• Hands-on experience setting up Microsoft Purview.
• Expert-level skills in Microsoft Defender, Microsoft E5 administration, and Microsoft Purview, including information protection, DLP, and auto-labeling.
• Minimum graduate degree in IT.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Active knowledge of Dutch or French and English is required.

Nice to have

• Information Protection Administrator certification (SC-400).
• Applied skills in Microsoft Purview DLP.
