Senior Category Manager

Salary: $123,250.00–$145,000.00.

What you will do

• Develop and implement category plans and strategies aligned with business-line and procurement priorities.
• Select, manage, and expand preferred supplier programs that deliver value for clients and support EBITDA growth.
• Monitor supplier utilization, capabilities, performance, and account needs across service-line portfolios.
• Analyze third-party spend and use demand planning and industry best practices to identify value.
• Build relationships with business units, procurement, Finance, Operations, Technology, HR, Project Management, and Legal.
• Lead communications, negotiations, risk mitigation, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of facilities category management or operational experience within supply chain.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement fundamentals and demonstrated subject matter expertise in facility services trades.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Contract negotiation and ongoing contract management experience.
• Experience building and managing diverse supplier relationships and analyzing data to assess third-party spend.
• Ability to independently lead and manage multiple projects, develop innovative strategies, and overcome obstacles.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M., or evidence of continued professional growth.
