Principal Product Manager - Planning and Forecasting (AI)

Location: Onsite at the Bentonville Home Office, 905 Customer Dr, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $110,000–$220,000, plus performance bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Own strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and measurable outcomes for global planning and forecasting products.
• Maintain and enhance a business-critical finance platform while resolving issues and protecting critical operations.
• Define phased product evolution, requirements, and delivery plans for complex transformation initiatives.
• Use customer insight, product data, experimentation, and advanced analytics to improve finance and planning work.
• Partner with business, engineering, data science, UX, and domain experts to deliver reliable AI-enabled capabilities.
• Influence senior stakeholders, mentor product managers, and strengthen product-management practices.

Requirements

• Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related area and 9 years of experience in product management.
• Option 2: 11 years of experience in product management or a related area.
• Experience owning complex, enterprise-scale products from discovery through launch, adoption, and long-term evolution.
• Strong product strategy, customer discovery, requirements, roadmapping, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to translate customer needs through design thinking, journey mapping, and process analysis into clear product direction.
• Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, advanced analytics, emerging technologies, and AI.

Nice to have

• Experience leading complex product modernization, migration, or transformation efforts while sustaining a business-critical product.
• Experience in planning, forecasting, finance, retail, or a comparable decision-support domain.
• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related area.
• Experience as a product manager on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
• Supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
