Senior Engineer, Buildings (Structural Engineering)

Location: Hybrid role based in the NYC office at 32 Old Slip, New York, United States

Base compensation: $105,000–$115,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and analyze a wide range of building projects using steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
• Assist with preparing drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations and document existing conditions.
• Manage project staff and client relationships.
• Mentor and guide junior staff.
• Participate in professional organizations and follow industry developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• 6–10 years of experience executing residential, commercial, or institutional building projects as a Structural Engineer is required.
• Proficiency with computer analysis software such as RISA, SAP, or RAM.
• Working knowledge of REVIT.

• Demonstrated collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• P.E. or S.E. license.
• Experience with private residential projects.
