Head of Communications & Analyst Relations (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York City, US; hybrid

Salary: USD 180,000–210,000 per year

What you will do

• Build hirify.global's communications and analyst-relations function, strategy, messaging, and measurement from scratch.
• Develop and run Gartner, Forrester, and IDC programs, including briefings, inquiries, research submissions, and category-defining reports.
• Lead media relations across cybersecurity, industrial, and business press, including rapid responses to OT attack news.
• Build executive thought leadership through bylines, ghostwritten posts, speaking opportunities, podcasts, and media training.
• Lead communications for product launches, funding, partner, and customer announcements, starting with the on-premises offering GA in early 2027.
• Own LinkedIn, employee advocacy, customer stories, agency relationships, and reporting on coverage, analyst mentions, share of voice, and influenced pipeline.

Requirements

• 10+ years of B2B technology communications experience, ideally in cybersecurity or enterprise infrastructure, including senior roles at high-growth companies.
• Demonstrated analyst-relations experience, such as leading a Magic Quadrant or Wave submission and improving a company's placement.
• Strong relationships with security and technology press, with sound judgment about when to pursue or hold a story.
• Experience ghostwriting for executives and building executive profiles.
• Ability to work as an initial team of one by writing releases, pitching reporters, and running briefings independently.
• Integrated understanding of PR, analyst relations, social, content, and customer stories as one system.
• Interest in OT, industrial cybersecurity, and the people who keep plants running; direct industry experience is not required.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for events, press, and analyst days.

Hiring process

• The first 90 days include establishing analyst cadence, planning product-launch communications, media-training founders, securing executive bylines and speaking slots, and launching a consistent LinkedIn program.
