Director, Product PR (AI)

Location: Hybrid remote and in-office work required at the Menlo Park, CA office, United States.

Salary: $228K–$299.2K annually.

What you will do

• Own the global Product PR function and shape Snowflake’s AI narrative across the end-to-end product portfolio.
• Lead communications for product launches, AI-native partnerships, customer success, M&A, and major flagship events.
• Advise product executives on media interviews, thought leadership, keynote narratives, social content, and high-stakes communications.
• Manage integrated campaigns spanning corporate, product, executive, customer, partner, analyst, employee, and social communications.
• Modernize media strategy through podcasts, Substack, experiential press programs, executive events, and non-traditional journalist engagement.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing PR team while building AI-powered workflows for monitoring, reporting, and content development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field, including deep expertise in B2B technology and enterprise SaaS.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and leading high-performing PR and communications teams.
• Proven ownership of global Product PR functions, complex technical product launches, and AI or data narratives.
• Extensive experience working directly with C-suite executives on strategic communications, keynote development, and high-stakes media engagements.
• Deep expertise in crisis and issues communications, with the ability to advise senior leadership during sensitive situations.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, including translating technical product capabilities into business-outcome-focused content.
• Strong media relationships and experience with new media, including Substack and podcasts, plus experiential PR tactics.
• Experience managing integrated PR for large-scale flagship events and global corporate campaigns.
• Curiosity about AI and automation, with experience building AI-assisted workflows or integrating new tools into daily work.
• Bias for action and a builder mentality.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
