Production Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Edgewood, NY, United States; 100% on-site at a hirify.global location

Salary: $92,520–$120,840 annually, based on experience; bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Manage production operations, activities, workflows, staffing, scheduling, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Lead staff development through coaching, mentoring, training, performance reviews, counseling, and disciplinary processes.
• Maintain capacity for current and future production volumes, including new products, technologies, industry standards, and labor requirements.
• Analyze processes and implement opportunities to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and maintain quality.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments, participate in client meetings and tours, and resolve schedule or production issues.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets and goals, provide management reports, interview candidates, and make hiring or termination recommendations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience, including supervisory experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, plus excellent PC skills.
• Strong analytical, verbal, written, organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to review jobs before and after insertion to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding operational environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime, including weekends and holidays; regular hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday–Friday, with required overtime.
• Some travel to trade shows, seminars, equipment manufacturers, and other hirify.global facilities may be required.
