Lead Software Engineer Systems

Location: Emmen, Netherlands; full-time, 40 hours per week

What you will do

• Lead project teams consisting of engineers, developers, and commissioning staff.
• Create the basic design and engineer critical parts of systems.
• Coordinate activities that deviate from project planning and report progress to the project manager.
• Represent Eekels to customers as the technical point of contact and contribute to strong customer relationships.
• Initiate product and process improvements that strengthen Eekels’ competitive position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical Computer Science or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience with automation software such as PLC, SCADA, and HMI.
• Experience with the IEC 61131-3 standard, including Structured Text and Function Block Diagram.
• Creative, solution-oriented, proactive, and analytically skilled.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Good spoken and written Dutch and English.
