Senior Program Manager (Defense)

Location: San Diego, CA, USA; onsite work at Government facilities is required.

What you will do

• Lead delivery of engineering, technical sustainment, modernization, and logistics services for Navy shore networks.
• Direct the deputy and technical leads while aligning resources, schedules, and technical priorities with customer requirements.
• Manage program planning, staffing, integrated schedules, budgets, cost control, and action plans.
• Lead Government program reviews and communicate milestones, accomplishments, resource needs, risks, and unresolved decisions.
• Review cost, schedule, and technical performance and direct corrective actions when delivery differs from the approved plan.
• Oversee contract reporting, deliverable quality, risk management, competing execution priorities, and issues requiring Government direction.

Requirements

• Active Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a United States DoD security clearance for onsite work at Government facilities.
• DoD-approved 8570 / 8140 operating-system and cybersecurity certifications required.
• Bachelor’s degree in any technical or managerial discipline.
• 15 years of professional experience in program or project management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and managing program resources and budgets.
• Experience presenting performance, risks, and recovery plans to Government customers.
• US citizenship or authorization to work in the US is required for qualification.
