Producer (Mobile F2P Games)

Location: Hybrid, London office; the studio is currently working completely from home under its COVID policy. Core hours are 10am–5pm.

What you will do

• Run delivery for the Cook & Merge core team, reporting to the Product Owner and coordinating development disciplines, marketing, customer support, and studio stakeholders.
• Oversee agile processes, including sprint scheduling, capacity planning, JIRA tickets, sprints, release versions, Scrum ceremonies, and sprint artefacts.
• Track team velocity and individual capacity, identify dependencies and blockers, and manage live incidents and in-development issues.
• Ensure upcoming features and content are resourced, planned, and achievable within release capacity; escalate risks and scope issues to the Product Owner.
• Maintain processes, documentation, workflows, stakeholder status reports, and release-readiness tracking through the RC phase.
• Support release management and localisation, and pilot documented AI-assisted production workflows with appropriate review steps.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience producing or project managing a live mobile F2P game.
• Hands-on Agile and Jira experience, including sprints, versions, boards, dashboards, JQL, and basic administration, for a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience shipping on a fixed release cadence, including RC phases and phased store rollouts.
• Clear, brief written communication.
• Ability to negotiate scope and resourcing with discipline leads and escalate early with options.
• Daily working use of an LLM assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT for writing, summarising, and structuring work, with judgement to check its output.

Nice to have

• Merge or casual puzzle genre experience.
• Exposure to localisation pipelines and iOS/Android store submission.
• Basic analytics literacy, including velocity charts, burn-downs, and KPI dashboards.
• Experience with AI assistants connected to JIRA, Confluence, or Slack, including building reusable workflows, prompts, or skills.
