IT & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Space)

Location: Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model. Up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain shared platform services for GNSS algorithms and products.
• Maintain and improve the CI/CD environment.
• Support cloud-native deployments using Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized microservices.
• Prepare and update customer-facing project documentation.
• Participate in SAFe ceremonies with the Product Owner.
• Ensure the platform meets GNSS algorithm requirements for the Galileo programme.

Requirements

• Degree or background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Background and interest in software development, cloud-native technologies, DevOps practices, distributed systems, and the space sector.
• Knowledge of Python, C++, and C.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of cloud-based environments and containerized microservices, particularly Kubernetes.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and environments.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Nice to have

• Agile certifications.
• Knowledge of ArgoCD and Kafka.
