Data Platform & Cloud Engineer

Location: Spain-based locations in Santiago de Compostela or Logroño; fully remote work is available depending on location, alongside a hybrid model adapted to team needs.

What you will do

• Create and manage users, groups and service accounts using policies, roles, RBAC and management units.
• Deploy, administer and maintain Azure, AWS and Google Cloud solutions across compute, storage, networking, security and governance.
• Automate cloud administration with PowerShell, CLI and Python, and manage monitoring, alerting and documentation.
• Analyze cloud spending and usage, identify underutilized resources and recommend right-sizing and cost-efficient solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents and outages, coordinating workarounds with developers, project managers, business users and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience administering Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, including resource management, security, networking and identity services.
• Experience with DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines and tools for automating cloud deployments.
• Experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes and managed services such as AKS, EKS, GKE, Azure Container Apps, AWS Fargate or Google Cloud Run.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, command-line tools and automation tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues in cloud-based applications, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Azure, AWS or Google Cloud certifications at Associate, Expert or Professional level.
• Certifications in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes or FinOps.
• Experience deploying or administering Data & Analytics tools such as Databricks Workspaces, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Bedrock, SageMaker, Glue or Azure Foundry.
