Mandatory Intern (m/f/d) Knowledge and Data Management in Battery System Development (Batteries)

Location: Aachen, Germany. Full-time, fixed-term mandatory internship.

What you will do

• Contribute to the Battery System Development team developing series battery systems for global OEMs.
• Further develop and maintain a battery module and pack database used as a benchmark in development projects.
• Aggregate data from multiple development areas and gain insight into battery system engineering.
• Support series development projects and follow the current market for battery systems and electric vehicles.

Requirements

• Currently studying engineering, such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy technology, or automotive engineering.
• Required to complete a mandatory internship as part of the study program.
• Interest in system design and conceptual work in battery development.
• Strong communication and motivational skills.
• Good written and spoken German and English.
• Good Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Interest in and enthusiasm for e-mobility and batteries.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently with personal initiative.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with databases and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge and experience with VBA and MATLAB programming.
